There are so many webseries on OTT platform that sometimes its confused the viewer what to watch out of them. I have watched & liked few web series which are worth watching.

Breaking Bad

This crime drama series (2008-2013) shows how situation made a simple professor most sought after person. The pace of the series is fast & potential to hold the audience to watch multiple episodes in single go. I would say this series is addictive like a drug & you start falling in love with each character.   

BETTER CALL SAUL

This is prequel of "Breaking Bad" web series but here the character of Saul Goodman was explained minutely & soon you start loving his character. This series shows how he did all "Jugaad" to survive & make life better. Worth watching any time. 

Fargo

This Netflix webseries starts & you are under its grip. Worth watching for Billy Bob Thornton acting with few memorable quotes. Showcase how a criminal mind influences a innocent person & leads to unexpected things never imagined. 

Bandish Bandits

 This music based series is so refreshing as it takes us to Western & Indian Classical music. Brilliant actors & minute things about the boring classical music makes this series worth watching with feel good feelings. The series easily takes you to its musical journey.

Here's the few movies which has surprised me when i watched them casually. Highlighting only the movies which are sometimes low profile or forgotten but still worth watching today also. 

 

 

Ben Hur

"Ben Hur "  This 1959 movie comes under Classic category based on the novel Ben-Hur-A Tale of the Christ. The Chariot race was the most highlighted event of the movie shot in a very grand level.  The movie is long but keep the audience glued through out the entire movie. I watched this movie in "Chanakya" cinema hall in Delhi when i was school going & not aware of meaning evergreen classic movies. The movie was released in 90s in Delhi as during that time the Hollywood movies came in this hall very very late. So watching a 1959 movie in 90's was boring a first thought but the moment movie starts & start gripping your attention that made this movie, one of my favorite.

MEMENTO

"Memento"  . This 2000 thriller movie belongs to Batman Fame director "Christopher Nolan". The non-linear narrative style of story telling will blow your mind. The brilliant performance of Guy Pearce as main lead is mind blowing. The film is worth watching for the new style of story telling from the perspective of the hero. The Bollywood has inspired from this movie & made "Gajni" taking the idea from Memento.

The Terror Live

This 2013 Korean thriller movie is about how a simple call to frustrated RJ of news channel turns to be a boom for him💥. The movie gripped you from the moment it starts & the way it gradually getting tensed. The Bollywood is remaking it by the name "Dhamaka" starring Karthik Aryan which is on the floor now & will be released on Netflix/OTT platform due to corona crisis.

Vikram Vedha

This movie although dubbed in Hindi but still worth watching due to its story telling & the two main characters. Madhavan look quite different from his chocolaty image & Vijay Sethupathi at first look simple fat guy but slowing makes a place in your heart. The fast paced thriller is surprised me when i watched it.
